“Best Recruiters” for 2009 Announced!

ClearedJobs.Net releases 2009’s list of recruiter honorees selected by Security Cleared Job Fair Attendees throughout the year

During each of the Cleared Job Fairs held throughout 2009, participating security cleared job seekers were given the opportunity to vote for the nation’s top recruiting experience from a pool of employers and defense contractors seeking professionals with active security clearances. Over 5,000 job seekers in the security cleared marketplace have since selected more than 140 recruiters from government contractor companies as the best in the industry nationwide.

“Job fairs can be a trying experience on both the recruiters and the job seekers. By making this a pleasurable experience, everyone wins. The recruiters recognized as ‘best’ are those who miss lunch, don’t take breaks and talk with every job seeker who comes to their booth”, says Kathleen Smith, CMO, ClearedJobs.Net. “It is an honor to have these hard working recruiters at our Cleared Job Fairs.”

Recruiters from the following companies were selected:

  • AT&T Government Solutions
  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • CACI
  • Department of Homeland Security
  • General Dynamics IT
  • L-3 Global Security & Engineering Solutions
  • L-3 Communications (ISD)
  • Lockheed Martin
  • Northrop Grumman
  • PiccoTek
  • SAIC
  • URS Corporation

All the Best Recruiters of 2009 will be celebrated at a special invitation-only Best Recruiter Celebration on Thursday, December 10th at the Double Tree Hotel’s Windows over Washington restaurant in Arlington, Virginia just before that day’s Cleared Job Fair. “We want to show these recruiters how much we appreciate their efforts. It is important to us to take the time to appreciate our partners who work so hard,” says Smith.

At the Best Recruiter Celebration, ClearedJobs.Net will also be honoring Carol Cleary from Northrop Grumman IS for her contributions to the recruiting industry. “Carol has been mentor, professional colleague and advocate for the job seeker. She is constantly voted the overall Best Recruiter at our events and we want to specifically thank her for her contributions to the industry,” added Smith.

The Best Recruiter Celebration will also feature renowned human resources consultant Peter Weddle as the guest speaker and Weddle will present The Hot Recruiting Trends for 2010.
