Is Your ClearedJobs.Net Job Seeker Profile Complete

Posted by Rob Riggins

A complete ClearedJobs.Net job seeker profile is important because recruiters don’t have time to futz with incomplete information.

When you log in to your ClearedJobs.Net account you’ll land on My Account Dashboard. Have you paid attention to your Profile Completion Meter? Have you made it to 100%? 90% is the minimum a job seeker needs for an effective job search.

To complete your profile, select “Click here to complete your profile” from your dashboard.

In the Profile Completeness box the incomplete items are highlighted in red. Simply click on each item to finish creating your profile.

Two Critical Items, Your Resume and Career Preferences

If you have selected that your information is searchable by recruiters or if you want to apply for a job, there are two critical elements that must be completed. Otherwise recruiters will not view your information.

  • * You’ve uploaded your resume. That makes sense, right? A recruiter wants a full picture of your accomplishments and work history. Otherwise they have to take an extra step to contact you to get your resume. That isn’t going to happen.
  • * You’ve completed your Career Preferences. This is more important than you think. Reviewing your resume triggers certain federal OFCCP reporting requirements. That’s why when recruiters are initially searching they typically scan your career preferences before looking at your resume to avoid an overabundance of reporting.

So check out your Profile Completion Meter and make sure you’re setting yourself up for a successful job search.
