Living Intelligence Will Reduce Intelligence Agency Overlap

You have probably heard of the U.S. Intelligence Community’s wiki Intellipedia. While it’s a great example of content creation through inter-agency collaboration and use of Web 2.0 tools, the challenge remains that each intelligence agency still produces their own official finished product.

The concept of Living Intelligence, evangelized by Chris Rasmussen, is to go to the next step — create a similar tool with that includes content certification that represents an official view. That would decrease redundancy and reduce the number of finished products. Topics remain open so any and all agencies can contribute, and certified information can be updated and recertified as necessary. This excellent video explains the concept:
