Military Spouse Appreciation Day 2014 Twitter Recognition

Posted by Rob Riggins

Military Spouse Appreciation Day certificateIn 2009, ClearedJobs.Net launched an effort to publicly recognize military spouses on Military Spouse Appreciation Day (MSAD) via Twitter. MSAD was first proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, and takes place this year on Friday, May 10.

Our goal is to recognize military spouses who often must endure months apart from their loved ones, uprooted lives, and the general uncertainty that comes with being the spouse of a military member.

ClearedJobs.Net’s military spouse appreciation program is an exclusive Twitter-specific initiative using the Twitter handle @MilSpouseDay. Military spouses from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces are honored, and you can follow this year’s @milspouseday initiative via @milspouseday, Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9, 2014.

Do Know a Military Spouse We Should Honor

Help us honor these folks who serve our country. If you know a military spouse who is on Twitter that you would like us to honor, please send a tweet to @milspouseday.

  1. My friend Anielka Silva has been an army wife for five years now. I want to say thank you for all the sacrifices you make. Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day
