Most Viewed Companies and Cleared Jobs of 2014
Everyone does Top 10 lists. In our bid to take the road slightly less traveled, we bring you our Top 7 lists for 2014, based on cleared job seeker activity on ClearedJobs.Net.
7 Most Viewed Cleared Facilities Employers
These are the seven company profiles that cleared job seekers viewed the most. Many of these companies are not the largest defense contractors with the best-known names, which is probably why job seekers were checking them out.
3. Leidos
4. Abraxas
5. Alion Science and Technology
7. Altamira
7 Most Viewed Cleared Jobs
The most viewed jobs you need to take with a grain of salt as there are several factors at play. Some job descriptions are up for a very short amount of time. Others are up for a very long time. That certainly plays in to their popularity. Some jobs are popular due to the curiosity factor as well. Cleared American Escorts anyone?
We’ve stripped out any jobs that do not have a specific geographic location associated with the position. Those are always the most popular jobs.
Our most viewed jobs for 2014 show that cleared job seekers have an interest in Intel, but also that the USIS background investigation kerfuffle had some impact.
1. Personnel Security Specialist, Global Professional Solutions, Fort Meade, MD
2. Manager Quality Assurance, General Dynamics-IT, Albany, GA
3. Background Investigator, Omniplex, Chantilly, VA
4. HUMINT Collections Managers, ZelTech, Washington, DC
5. Armed Security Officer, Omniplex, Fort Lauderdale, FL
6. Counterterrorism Analyst, Syntelligent, Washington, DC
7. Cleared American Escorts, Global Professional Solutions, Alexandria, VA
7 Most Applied for Cleared Jobs
The jobs on ClearedJobs.Net that received the most job seeker applications in 2014 not surprisingly show some overlap with the most viewed jobs. Once again Intel leads the way:
1. Personnel Security Specialist, Global Professional Solutions, Fort Meade, MD
2. Intel Analyst, Northrop Grumman, Molesworth, UK
3. Cleared American Escorts, Global Professional Solutions, Alexandria, VA
4. All Source Intel Analysts, Syntelligent, Multiple U.S. locations
5. Logistics Manager, Northrop Grumman, Saudi Arabia
6. Sr. Level Admin Support Specialist, Shine, McLean, VA
7. HUMINT Collections Managers, ZelTech, Washington, DC
Conclusions
What does it all mean? Well firstly this isn’t a scientific analysis, but it’s fun to review the data. It’s clear that there is a higher ratio of cleared job seekers per open position in certain fields such as intel, physical security, admin and logistics.
Then there are positions with very high demand that we will likely never see on a list of the most viewed or most applied for cleared jobs. That would be – as you might expect – IT and Cyber Security positions.
