GovEvents.com Launches … Good Place for Cleared Job Seekers to Learn About Upcoming Networking Opportunities

Posted by Kathleen Smith

GovEvents has just launched a portal for government-related events. The site provides in-depth information on a wide variety of events, from major industry tradeshows, to government conferences, to agency-sponsored roundtables, and webcasts.

GovEvents helps federal, state and local government employees as well as the industries that serve those audiences. Wading through multiple sites to find the event that is the right fit for professional development or business networking is challenging. GovEvents provides a comprehensive event listing and search source to help with professional development, networking, and knowledge sharing. Industry users can also use GovEvents to look for events to attend, exhibit, and sponsor. The portal is free of charge for Government employees, event organizers, and industry users.

Our .02 cents: We think GovEvents is an excellent online location for professionals with active security clearances to learn about upcoming events where they can network with prospective employers.

Check it out and good luck!!
