Train of Pain 2013

Posted by Rob Riggins

No it’s not preparation for your job search, the wifi experience on Amtrak, or Metro’s Orange line during rush hour.

Train of Pain is a grueling 500+ mile week-long bike ride in California. It’s the first of two annual biking events ClearedJobs.Net sponsors each year.

Navy Cycling Club

Both events are produced by members of the Navy Cycling Club of Southern California, which includes active and retired military members from two Special Operations groups: Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW or SEAL), as well as our own VP of Sales, Carter Goodnough. Carter is one of the chief organizers for the event, which is May 19-23.

Cheer the team on next week and follow the action via their Train of Pain Facebook page.

The Train of Pain is part of Navy Cycling’s prep for the Undefeated 2-Day Rides in the fall.

Undefeated 2-Day Rides

Last year’s Ride raised over $300,000 for the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation. This year it’s much easier to participate and support wounded EOD families caring for their loved ones at military medical facilities around the country.
