#SHRM13 Recap of the Recaps

As with any conference to get the download but not attend you follow the tweetstream– all of the posts or Tweets from conference attendees tagged #SHRM13. While you will wade through the sponsor and vendor promotions, you can pick up some information throughout the conference and the blog posts from attendees who are bloggers.

A great place to start for SHRM#13 was Blogging4Jobs which not only gave you an official –unofficial party guide for the conference but also a day-to-day recap of the conference.

One of the great posts was of the Dan Pink session which stated Recruiters, You Actually Are in Sales which really resonated with first-time attendee John Nixon, COO, ClearedJobs.Net.   

And while many most posts were a litany of parties, schwag grab and maybe a few key learnings, hats off to Quantum Workplace for this Eight Highlights from the SHRM Annual Conference that lists succinctly the key sessions, takeaways and best quotes.  

Still not enough of the lowdown from SHRM#13? Well our good friends over at Fistful of Talent, have their own wrap up of all the coverage from SHRM#13.

In watching the Twitter stream from SHRM#13 one notable tweet was that Taleo was not at SHRM. Another was that there was a lack of any information on mobile.
